Has any one been to “Astor upon a Park” a road house in New York? Reviews Please?

The location is pretty far “uptown” but near the subway. I would not stray too far from this hotel after dark.
Honestly, Ally, New York City is a lot safer now than it used to be some 20 years ago. You’ll be fine.
In regards to the hotel in question, the hotel is located on 107th Street and Central Park West, which is in the Upper West Side. The hotel is located 3 blocks south of the 110th Street-Cathedral Parkway subway station on the “B” and “C” subway line (Blue and Orange Lines on the subway map). Therefore, you’re a short 15 to 20 minutes ride from most major attractions.
